Mobile devices are playing an increasingly large role in the delivery of learning, but organizations are still struggling to identify the most effective ways to use them. According to Brandon Hall Group’s Mobile Learning 2014 survey, only 42% of organizations are doing anything more than allowing limited access to learning via mobile web browsers, but 87% agree that the use of mobile for learning will increase over the next 12 months.

Mark Simon is a Principal Training Specialist at HiMark Solutions and has over 20 years of hands-on experience with design, development, and delivery of eLearning and instructor-led training. Mark is also an Adjunct Professor in the Instructional Design graduate program at UMass-Boston. Mark’s articles have appeared in eLearning Guild’s Learning Solutions Magazine as well as ASTD’s T+D Magazine, and Mark is a frequent presenter at eLearning Guild and ASTD events. Mark has an M.Ed. in Instructional Design from UMass-Boston and an undergraduate degree from Miami University.
