HCM Business Trends 2015
Mike Cooke, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Brandon Hall Group

Personal Best, Professional Best: How to Achieve the Impossible and Realize Your Dreams
Susan Ershler, International Speaker, Business & Sales Executive, Author, Climber of Mount Everest
Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015, 8:30-9:30am

Susan Ershler tours the world speaking about her life journey and sharing with others her secrets for success, determination, and achieving seemingly impossible goals. Susan's record would be remarkable enough if it only detailed her business achievements. During her 23-year corporate career, she has held a series of increasingly responsible executive positions in the sales divisions of Fortune 500 companies. But as she was marking these achievements, she and her husband Phil, a professional mountain guide, were climbing the Seven Summits — the highest mountain on each of the world's seven continents. That remarkable journey culminated at the top of Mount Everest on May 16, 2002. Susan’s leadership message begins with visualizing a goal, no matter how difficult or out of reach. She continues with techniques to improve focus and discipline and shows how essential teamwork is to achievement. And she concludes with a passionate affirmation of the value of life and the thrill of celebrating your success from the top of the world.

Celebration of Excellence: The 2014 Brandon Hall Group Excellence Award Winners

Hosts:
Mike Cooke,
Chairman and CEO, Brandon Hall Group
Rachel Cooke, Chief Operating Officer, Brandon Hall Group

Claude Werder, Vice President of Corporate and Product Development, Brandon Hall Group

Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015, 5:00-6:30pm

Organizations, large and small and across the globe, are achieving amazing results in Learning and Development, Talent Management, Human Resources, Sales Enablement, and Technology. This session showcases the achievements of organizations that won gold, silver, and bronze awards in the 2014 Brandon Hall Group Excellence Awards Program. This is not, however, your typical grip-and-grin ceremony. The emphasis will be on illustrating how these high-performing organizations achieved measurable results for their organizations. All attendees will also receive access to case studies detailing the steps these organizations took, and the obstacles they overcame, to achieve excellence. The celebration will continue immediately afterward with our Awards Reception.

Dress Code:
Casual business attire is appropriate for all general sessions and breakouts at Excellence15. The temperatures are mild during the day, but the evenings can be chilly, so a jacket or sweater is recommended.

Cocktail/dress attire is appropriate for the Excellence Awards Ceremony and Reception. Men: jacket (tie optional). Women: dress suit, pant suit or cocktail dress (long or short).
